HISTORY
TLX Technologies was founded in 1996 to bring to market some uniquely patented hi-speed digital valves for controlling the inflation of a vehicle air bag.
At that time the National Transportation Safety Administration was searching for ways to eliminate multiple children deaths caused by the excessive forces transmitted to occupants during air bag inflation.
To further develop and market this technology the company obtained investment backing in 1998 and moved to the current Waukesha, WI facility shortly thereafter.
During the succeeding years, TLX adapted this technology to many other markets including fire protection, recreational vehicles and standby power systems along with many general consumer, industrial and automotive applications.
Our customer base spans the America's and Europe and includes many fortune 200 customers.
TLX's strength has always been the constant development of unique technology and from inception to the present, that technology continues to provide us exceptional opportunities within emerging markets or applications allowing the company to further grow and expand within the electro-mechanical solenoid market.
